The Last memory
I remember it being a long long walk,
When in the heat, my body shivered,
I remember it being so clam and quite,
That I could hear what the air whispered.
Oh! I remember I was dull and I cried,
Yes I remember we didn’t fight,
But I fail to recall that something important,
Which went wrong but had to be right.
This..This was my last memory,
Last time I ever saw you,
Last time when you dropped me home,
You stayed outside as I walked inside alone.
The sun was setting in the sky,
I remember us saying our set of “Byes”
But I wanted to see you again,
And I just saw you again.
We met, we walked, we talked,
All nightmares were suddenly lost.
I could feel my heart getting lighter and happy,
As I sensed the disappearance of the troubled ghost.
And hence there is the last memory of you,
All happy and cheerful like a morning dew.
I would rather never see you again,
Which might give a chance to last memory to change.
