Conversation with her Shadow

Sitting on the rock by the side of the road ,
She looked quite, but her heart screams
Isolated and deserted, she sought shelter
In her own, self-crafted world of dreams

"Hey you", she heard a voice and looked around,
But to her dismay, not a soul was found
 “Hey look down, its me, your Shadow”
Shocked, she look at her silhouette on the ground

“Listen”, the shadow continued,
 “Its time, We need to have a conversation,
About something I have been holding back,
Something that has crossed my limits of toleration

I have been wondering where have you lost
What happened to you,
Where is that girl gone, Yes, Yes… that one,
The one who was as fresh as the morning dew

The girl who feared no one,
The one who rarely frowned
Courageous, Determined, Gracious
The one whose smile was her crown

Why have you turned so silent,
When you got so much to say,
Why do live in that shell of yours,
Why are you scared to touch the bay.

Girl, Let go of your fears,
Before it gets too late,
You’ve carried enough weight on those shoulders,
Its time to re-write your fate

Don’t be afraid of making mistakes,
Guess what..it’s okay to be insane,
Remember you are just another human,
Its time to unlock the chain

No mountains or sea, for you, Sky is the limit
Explore the horizons, unleash your incredible worth,
Discover, Reveal, please don’t conceal,
Hiding is not why you took birth.

For once, listen to your heartbeats, 
With your warmth you can melt that frozen wall,
For once, just take a leap and jump,
Haven’t you heard of ‘freefall’ ?

You can grow you’re wings on the way down,
Travel the world, design new plans

Soon, the shadow merged with darkness,
And The girl on the rock was not the same,
She was ready to dance, to sing , to fly,
To play the so-called “life’s game”.

Though it was dark, she could still sense her shadow,
This night was her dawn, a light only she could see,
She knew it’s time to move on, follow her dreams,
Unlock, Step-out, let it go and Break-free

Love..!!

Those crystals on the tip of leaf,

Force me get out of my bed,

To write new memories...And to

Put the haunted ones out of my head

I walk through the garden

Gazing at the morning sun rising above,

There’s something mystic about atmosphere

Something that reminds me of YOU..Love

Love is special key of incredible worth

Fit to unlock your heart and soul

Melting all gold on earth

It mends every single hole

Love is like a season

Which demands a tight hold to stay

Caring and nourishing is what it needs

Else like a dream, it fades away.

Love is a promise..

A promise that holds two souls together,
When life gets hard, when it gets tough,

They defeat it taking every measure

This is the love I hope to have,

Not a fairytale waiting to unwind,

Just a Love..that doesnot alter,

खामोशी

अजब सी है ये खामोशी,

हर सैलाब, हर तूफान,

हर शोर पर छाई है यह खामोशी

खामोशी..जो कहती है बहुत कुछ,

कभी चिलाती हैं तो कभी

सहमे अल्फासों में कुछ जाती हैं

खामोशी..बयान करती हैं बहुत कुछ,

गीले जो हैं खुदी से,

फ़ासले जो अब हैं ज़िंदगी से

खामोशी...सीखा जाती हैं बहुत कुछ,

गिरकर संभालने की हिम्मत देती हैं,

हर घड़ी आगे चलने की ताकत देती हैं

 

बड़ी अजब सी है यह खामोशी,

हर शोर पर छाई है ये खामोशी

They Say I have Changed,

They Say I am not the same..

I wonder why they think so...May be as

I refuse to keep hanging like a game.

I was stupid, I was mad..

That was the advantage the world had

I believed, trusted and loved them.

Only to realise..I was back stabbed.

Through all the lies and fakeness,

I kept crumbling like a pack of cards,

I was fragile , frail and weak

Every stroke broke my heart

O yes..I am a stone now,

A precious one, a jewel,

The beauty I have is so intrigue that

You are just not allowed to dwell.

I believe I have changed,

Since i am no longer the headline..

I believe the time has come,

For you...to live by my guidelines.

To the world where my feelings,

Turn into subject for Jokes,

...I am Lost and..

The Roads to me are forever closed.

Silver Lining

Here I am pacing back and forth,

Behind cold walls and closed doors,

With all my doubts pulling me down,

Forcing me to give up and leave the town

But the ray of light through the window,

Gives me strength, gives me hope

Yes, there are rocks I have stumbled upon,

But who said this road was simple to walk on.

Life’s like a crossword with no right answer,

Twisted as a riddle, a complex puzzle,

With numerous secrets cautiously weaved in,

All it needs is some time for unraveling

In the pains and troubles over the years,

I may have fallen and even shed tears,

All the trials and nightmares I fought,

“Outrun you fears”, is what they taught

I may bleed but I’ll never be defeated

And, When the city is busy dreaming,

I am wide awake hoping to see,

The cloud with the sweet silver lining.

ना जाने आज क्यूँ फिर से जीने को जी करता है,

ना जाने आज क्यूँ फिर से जीने को जी करता है,

उस खोई हँसी को फिर से हँसने को जी करता है..

दुनिया के तानो ने जो था छीना मुझसे,

उस विश्वास को फिर से पाने को जी करता है..

चुप हो गयी मैं उस शोर में जाने कहाँ,

उन अल्फासों में..उन साज़ों में,

गुम हुआ कहीं ज़िंदगी का कारवाँ,

आज फिर उस कारवाँ की राह लौट जाने को जी करता है

ना जाने आज क्यूँ फिर से जीने को जी करता है..

था मुझे डर उन सपनों के टूट जाने का,

अपनी मंज़िल का..अपनी तकदीर का

रेत जैसे लहरों संग बह जाने का,

आज बेफ़िक्र रेत समेट कर घरोंदा बनाने को जी करता हैं

ना जाने आज क्यूँ फिर से जीने को जी करता है..

चलते रही मैं भी इस भीड़ के संग मे,

यूँही रुखते हुए, यूँही तकते हुए,

परों को ना खोने का एहसास लिए मन मे,

आज उन पखों को फैला कर बस उड़ने को जी करता हैं

ना जाने आज क्यूँ फिर से जीने को जी करता है..

F.R.I.E.N.D.S

Oh Yes! my memory recalled,

As i was holding the cup of tea,

How sweet it used to be,

When it was shared with "Thee".

We might not be BFF's,

We may not have shared cards,

But with "thee" it was all,

Nothing but days & nights of endless laughs,

And that was all that mattered,

A friendship just pure and true,

A frienship without any expectations,

The one, which, in every moment grew.

A friendship needing no proofs,

No oceans to cross, no hills to climb,

Just an assurance when we are sad & lonely,

We'll find a hug holding us tight.

Can't recall any big moments either,

Nothing which the world might claim to be insane,

It was all as Simple as,

A game in snow or a walk in rain.

We've been together

Together FRIENDS for so long,

Rhyming to our tune,

And dancing to our song...:)
